Leaves (Brown) 2025. Tactile photo collage with “swell” capsule paper, adhesive, cradled wood panel. 12”x12”x0.75"

At the upper right edge of Leaves (Brown) there is a partial pile of light-brown fallen leaves; and, in the center of the panel, a single brown oak leaf and a light-yellow maple-shaped leaf. The bottom right corner holds two small, dried leaves tangled into green-grey frothy plant stems. However, the main subject is animal tracks imprinted on sidewalk concrete. Where are they going? Three-toed “bird” tracks run vertically up the center right side. Sets of paw prints, perhaps from a smaller dog and a larger dog, decorate the left side. Dominant colors are grey and brown. Rectangles delineated by sidewalk “contraction joints” cross the panel, with a downward pointing triangular shape made at center where collaged pieces converge. Leaves (Brown) is a square tactile photo collage (12” x 12”) made from touchable “swell” paper adhered to wood.
